What a seasonal tune-up covers
We service cooling systems in spring and heating systems in fall. A cooling tune-up includes coil cleaning, a refrigerant charge check, electrical connection and amp draw testing, and clearing the condensate line. A heating tune-up covers the burner and ignition components, the flame sensor, airflow, and a combustion and carbon monoxide safety check. The relevant readings are documented so you can see how your system is performing.
Why maintenance pays for itself
Most HVAC breakdowns start as small problems: a weakening capacitor, a dirty coil, a loose electrical connection. A tune-up catches them while they are cheap to fix and before they leave you without heat or cooling on the worst day. Clean, properly adjusted equipment also runs more efficiently, and documented readings give you a baseline to compare against next year.
What we document
After each tune-up, the relevant readings and findings are recorded on the service ticket: temperatures, electrical readings, and condition notes, along with any recommendations. If we find a worn part that is likely to fail, we explain it and give you the price in writing, and you decide when to fix it. We do not pressure you into repairs you do not need.
When to schedule
Book cooling service in spring before the first hot stretch and heating service in early fall before the first cold snap. Demand rises quickly when the weather turns, so calling early gives you the best chance of an appointment that works for you. Appointments depend on availability, so call anytime to ask.
